Teleste is an international technology group founded in 1954, which has specialized in broadband video and data communication systems and services. The group is active in two business segments, Video and Broadband Solutions and Network Services; in both fields, Teleste are among the global leaders. Video is at the core of Teleste business activities, with a focus on the processing, transmission and management of video and data for operators and public authorities who provide multiple video-related information, entertainment and security services to end-users. Video and Broadband Solutions business segment has the emphasis on product solutions for broadband access networks, video service platforms and video surveillance applications. Network Services segment deliver comprehensive network service solutions including new construction, rebuilding, upgrading, planning and maintenance services of communication networks. There is a growing trend to integrate video surveillance systems with other sub-systems, such as traffic management systems, alarm & crisis management systems etc. By creating better and more valuable product solutions and services for customers in quality real time video, audio and data transmission, networking and recording, Teleste has been steadily accomplishing global potential with ongoing international larger scale projects for both public and private sectors. These can be broken down into three key areas: Intelligent Traffic Systems, City Center Monitoring and High-End Security. With public authorities as the main end-user group, the most important applications are traffic management and monitoring systems for road and rail transport, city center and urban surveillance systems and corporate security applications.
The MPC-SF family switches are designed for Ethernet networks in mission-critical real-time control applications as well as for LAN extensions.MPC series Ethernet switches are compact size standalone models for MPX and VMX platforms. Both MPC models are robust and temperature hardened 8-port layer-2 managed switches for video networking applications.
The IPS Series switch has the same features and function with a form factor suitable for 19″ rack/cabinet installations. IPS is a managed 8-port switch for Fast Ethernet video applications.
The MPX product family offers all the components needed in networked digital video systems for high performance video security system.
The very latest additions to the MPX range are the MPH Series Encoders providing the utmost H.264 Main Profile video performance in a single or two video channel format. Available mechanics support temperature hardened standalone operation but also more conventional indoor rack installations.
The MPX family is scalable from simple point-to-point fibre based systems to large scale distributed video network systems with full management for switching, control and security. The MPX products are relying on industry standards; hence they can be deployed in any standards based system. This is of the essence in todays multi-vendor environment.
All models ranging between MPX, MPC and MPH Series are ideal choices for applications in Transportation (ITS), City Center Monitoring (CCM), Corporate Security or any other installation requiring high quality video networking.
The CFO family are the 4 and 8 channel video modems designed to use standard SFP optics. Depending on the fiber link requirements suitable optics can be easily selected. In case there are future changes on the cabling conditions the SFP model can be easily changed on fly.
Today the fully re-designed CFO platform is ready to challenge any modern system requirement in the class of uncompressed realtime video transmission. Utilizing the most appropriate technologies for each type of service required, the single product approach enables very cost effective solutions for video, audio, data, contact closure and even Ethernet signal optical transmission.
In the area of Video Monitoring and Surveillance Teleste delivers world-class video network solutions mainly to public authorities for road and rail transport, city center and urban surveillance systems and corporate security applications. Teleste offers end to end solutions for processing, transmission and management of video, data and audio. By creating better and more valuable product solutions and services for customers in quality real time video, audio and data transmission, networking, recording, monitoring and management, Teleste has been steadily accomplishing global potential with ongoing international larger scale projects for both public and private sectors. As a matter of fact, one of our fields of special expertise is the integration of large networked video surveillance systems consisting of several hundreds or thousands of cameras into one unified system.
VMX Server is an integral element providing the central control of the Teleste VMXs ystem. VMX Server is responsible for system management, handling of system status updates, user rights allocation etc. Standard 2U rack mount chassis (R2) is suitable for most of the solutions.
VMX Client provides an interactive interface for system control. It allows the operator to control the video system using keyboard, mouse or joystick and to choose between several graphical user interfaces. A standard mini tower chassis (T1) provides cost eff ective solution for most of the installation. A 4U rack (R4) is the most common choice for rack mounted installations.
VMX Lite stand-alone video surveillance system is designed and built to deliver a powerful performance in a real-estate friendly single unit for those who do not always require a large physical footprint with distributed recording, backup functionality and multiple client access. In case of expansion needs, only a revised licensing purchase is needed to upgrade Teleste VMX Lite to be a part of complete Teleste VMX System.
